Forget all the fuss about John Terry and the armband, because these are looking like exciting times for England.
Fabio Capello has said 19 year old Jack Wilshere is the best young midfielder he has ever worked with. And the Italian and his trusted lieutenant Franco Baldini are also raving about striker Andy Carroll, 23.
"We obviously knew that Carroll had a lot to offer physically," Baldini told Undercover Sport.
"But we were surprised at how good his technique and touch were when he joined up with us.
"He is also faster than you might think. Andy can only improve now he has moved to Liverpool and I think he can become a great player for England."
